COnstruction Apprentice

Our 9- month Apprenticeship Training Program combines paid, on-the-job training with classroom learning. Apprentices choose a pathway to Carpenter Level 1 or Drywall Finisher Level 1; with opportunities to continue growing their skills and advancing their careers with FLP.

COnstruction Foreman / Superintendent

Fargo and Grand Forks, ND

The Foreman/Superintendent is responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of the assigned project. This role will oversee and manage our carpentry and drywall crews and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards.

Carpenter - Level I, II, or III

Fargo and Grand Forks, ND

The Carpenter is responsible for framing commercial projects using steel framing materials. The Carpenter will install metal studs used to create the framework for walls in commercial buildings, cut and trim materials, and use hand tools, power tools, and various equipment to complete their work. The Carpenter will also read blueprints to determine methods of installation, and measure and mark surfaces to lay out work using various marking devices/tools.

General Laborer

Fargo and Grand Forks, ND

Starting wage: $23+ per hour, paid weekly

The General Laborer will be responsible for performing day-to-day construction tasks related to steel stud framing and drywall installing and finishing. The General Laborer will assist the steel framers on commercial projects with cutting material, trimming material to size, and using power/hand tools as needed. The General Laborer will also assist with any drywall installing or finishing tasks as needed. 

Drywall Finisher - Level I, II, or III

Fargo and Grand Forks, ND

The Drywall Finisher is responsible for smoothing and finishing drywall surfaces. The Drywall Finisher will apply tape and sealing compound to cover joints between wallboards, and patch, trim, and smooth rough spots and edges.

Project Manager or Assistant PM

Fargo and Grand Forks, ND

The primary role of the Project Manager / Assistant PM is managing all project aspects: being responsible for the overall assigned project success, developing and maintaining project schedules, and building and maintaining effective relationships with partners, contractors, team members, and suppliers.

Administrative Assistant - Part Time

Grand Forks, ND

The primary role of the Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative and organizational support to the Project Management, Safety, Estimating, and Operations teams.  This role will assist with administrative tasks, documentation, data entry, and other projects that help our teams operate efficiently.
